Wrapping up 2023

As we are approaching the end of 2023, it is time for me to look back at 2023. Like every year, time went by so fast, and seems to go faster and faster. I once read that the older we get, the faster it goes, because our brain does not learn as much as it did when we were younger.

2023 was the year I decided to start up something on my own. Without having defined what that something should be exactly, it was very clear to me that it would be in the world of AI. Apart from some encounters with AI in the context of Autonomous Driving, I did not really know much about it, so I signed up for (my own) AI University. AI University most of all was, and for still is, watching as much as possible YouTubes about AI, reading Xeets, following AI-ers, and setting up my playground, locally on PC.

When I started I had 0% knowledge about Python, did not have a clue what CPT meant (I called it Cockpit, as used in the Automotive Industry), I followed the hype around ChatGPT, and burned many midnight oils with Stable Diffusion.

Quickly I become a fan of Emad Mostaque, Furkan, Matt Wolfe and Matt VidPro, and more recently Olivio, people I admire for many reasons, but one in particular they have have all in common, their sharing mindset.

Thinking about how I might contribute to the AI community, and being a fan of 'EcoSystems', I started working on Infinity-AGI.com. Inspired by Matt Wolfe (see my Blog URL), I am doing this initially for me, it will be my personal AI Hub, my starting place for everything that I will encounter on my AI journey. Whilst building (my) AI Ecosystem, I hope that Infinity-AGI.com may also become useful for other people at some point in time. I think I will go live in January 2024, in an early stage.
